During my A Level work I was given the opportunity to take
part in a workshop with fine artist Ian Murphy. Ian bases his work around
travels, experiences and viewpoints. His work is drawn from observation and
very rarely works from secondary source unless working with colour. My work
shown here has been produced using a similar working method to Ian. I have used
layers of paper and tissue to add depth and texture which has been worked over with
a simple yet effective technique of fine liner, water, graphite and paint.
